CLUB HISTORY

In 2002 a group of friends put together a seven a side team to compete in Football Mundial (North London).  After winning two titles, a wealthy local businessman provided the financial backing to help form Shadwell Football Club which entered the Mercury Waltham (Sunday) League in 2005. Under the guidance of Ashley Warren, Shadwell enjoyed immediate success winning the League Junior Cup and gaining promotion to Division 3.  The following season (2006/7) managerial reigns passed to Adam Stock and Tony Wild who masterminded the legendary Shadwell youth production line.  The team was immediately rewarded with impressive back to back cup titles, by landing the League Intermediate Cup.  At the start of the 2008/9 season, a part merger with 3 times Middlesex County Cup champions Enfield Rosaneri forged an unlikely managerial partnership between two brothers.  It also assured the perfect blend of youth and experience as the Shadwell Army marches on.
