CLUBS LISTED AS 'FREE' PLEASE NOTE

IF YOUR TEAM IS LISTED AS 'FREE', THIS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN 'NO MATCH ARRANGED'.
Changes to fixtures are frequently made on either a Sunday or a Monday evening preceding a game.
Club Secretaries of teams listed as 'FREE' will normally be contacted by David Smith (League Competitions Secretary) by a Monday evening if they have a game re-arranged for the coming Sunday. In general, Club Secretaries will be informed of Fixture changes by phone before they appear on the website.
Players of teams listed as 'FREE' on this website on a Monday should therefore 'double-check' with their Club Secretaries first
before accepting that they do not have a fixture the following Sunday.

REFEREES' APPOINTMENTS

To avoid confusion, we do not list Referees' Appointments to matches on this website.
This is because a number of changes to Referees' Appointments are often made on a Friday or a Saturday before a match, which is too late to insert them on this website when the majority of Club Secretaries and Referees only have access to the Internet at work between Monday - Friday.
NOTIFICATION OF ANY CHANGES TO REFEREE'S APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE BY THE LEAGUE REFEREES' SECRETARY
BY
PHONING HOME CLUB SECRETARIES & REFEREES AS SOON AS THEY OCCUR.

CUP RULE 12

Every club playing in League Cup Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals or Finals MUST send a list of players from which their team will be selected to the opposing Club Secretary and the League Records Secretary (Denis Coventry) not less than seven days before the date of the match.
Failure to do so will result in a Fine of not more than £25.00.
All teams that progress through to the Quarter-Final stages of League Cup Competitions will be e-mailed ready-made forms on which to fill in their list of players. The forms will be e-mailed with the Fixture lists that indicate the date they are playing a Quarter-Final. Separate forms for the Semi-Final and Final will also be e-mailed should they progress in the Competition. These forms can also be downloaded from this website as a PDF by clicking here.
Clubs can either post or e-mail their completed team-sheets to the League Records Secretary.
The Cup Rule 12 forms have columns for filling in the player's full name, their League registration number (i.e. the same number that is entered on Result Cards), date of birth, and the dates of three League matches that each player has appeared in this season. This is because Cup Rule 2(b) (on Page 25 of the League handbook) states that players cannot play in a Semi-Final or Final unless they have played in three or more League games for their club during the season.

The end column on the Form applies to Reserve Team Cup matches or to players who have transferred to a club during the season.
If any Club Secretaries are unsure of how to fill in the Cup Rule 12 form, they MUST contact the League Records Secretary.
The League Records Secretary will deal with any objections from clubs regarding opposing players that have been listed. Notice of any objection must be made in writing and must be received at least three days before the match by both the League Records Secretary (Denis Coventry) and the Secretary of the opposing club.
All participating clubs will be telephoned by the League Records Secretary on the Friday night preceding the match in order to be advised of any player ineligibility (as a result of sending in their team-sheets).

DOUBLE-HEADERS

Double-Headers consist of two separate 60-minute matches (30 minutes each way) to be played on the Home ground of the first-named team.
(These are arranged when certain teams start to suffer from a backlog of fixtures).
The Referee's Fee for a Double-Header is £48.00, to be paid to the Referee by the Home Team. The Away Team is responsible for 50% of the fee (i.e. £24.00) and should ensure they pay the Home Team accordingly. If Assistant Referees are appointed to Double-Headers, their fee is £23.00 each, to be shared equally by both teams.
The Home team is responsible for p
honing in the result of both matches.
