POINTS
AWARDED AT THE LEAGUE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING

Following approval at
the League Management Committee Meeting on Thursday night (8th May),
numerous teams have had points awarded for non-fulfilments of fixtures
by their opponents during the past six weeks. These points awarded have
now all been added to updated League Tables,
together with points awarded as a result of decisions regarding three
abandoned matches.
Full details are on the respective
Result Grids for the
Divisions involved.
This coming Sunday (11th May) sees the last fixtures of the season being
played, and these can be viewed on the Fixtures
Page. |

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & PRESENTATION EVENING

All
Club Secretaries are reminded that the LEAGUE ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING is being held this coming THURSDAY (15th May 2008) at
The Country Club, Lieutenant Ellis Way, Cheshunt
EN8 8YA, starting at 8.00.p.m. ALL
CLUBS MUST BE REPRESENTED AT THIS MEETING or they will be liable
to a £25.00 Fine under Rule 6(h).
The presentation of
awards are now done at the League A.G.M. as we no longer have a
Dinner/Dance function. The Country Club is therefore being used for the
A.G.M. instead of the Wolsey Hall as it is a bigger venue. |

travel to Away matches using SatNav devices, we are now looking to
insert the postcodes of venues used by teams in our League under their
details in the Club Directory. If you know the
postcode of your Home pitch, please e-mail it to
League Website Secretary Laurence Hughes as soon as possible
if you have not
entered it on your League Affiliation Form for Season 2008-2009. |

TEAM MANAGER REQUIRED |

Division Four side
Churchbury are
looking for a manager
for next season as the present Manager has indicated he will be standing
down at the end of this season. Applicants should contact Chairman
Peter Norton by e-mailing
nortonbarns@btopenworld.com or by phoning 01707 658480 as soon as
possible to discuss the situation. Churchbury still have games to play
this season, so there is an opportunity to see the current team play and
meet the players. |
