Send
in your Match Result Cards to Fred Beer
(not Gary Bailey) as soon as possible following the game. |
 |
Complete the cards fully, indicating any shortfall (e.g. Time of
Late Kick-Off, No Balls,
Flags, etc.) |
 |
Ensure
you complete both the score and the sportsmanship mark out of 10 in
the boxes on the card. |
 |
Keep
open dates for our League. |
 |
Advise
of closed dates as soon as they are known. |
 |
Phone
Gary Bailey if you have to, but no later than 9.30.p.m. each evening. |
 |
If
anything has to be brought to the League's attention (good or bad),
please write to Gary Bailey. However, if any serious incident takes
place, please contact any Senior League Officer immediately. |
 |
If
you are not happy with your match appointment, please contact Gary
Bailey. |
 |
Please
notify the Home Club Secretary in addition to the League Referees'
Secretary (Gary Bailey) if you have to cry off on the morning of a
match. Most Club Secretaries in the League now have a mobile
phone number listed in the League Handbook on which they can be
contacted on a Sunday morning and this will save the players and
Club Officials an unnecessary journey to the venue. |
 |
All
League Referees who are not allocated a match on any of the dates
on the League Fixture Lists that are sent out in the post are
advised to keep that particular date 'spare'/'open' as late changes
to Referees' appointments are made every week. |
 |
All Referees are
reminded that it is now a
FIFA recommendation that they check players' boots for worn-out
studs or blades before they take
part in a match. Also, it must be ensured
that all players, including the goalkeepers, are wearing shinpads
and have removed jewellery. |
